Monitoring & Daily Operations

This article gives you the tools to stop reacting and start running a proactive operation - so you catch issues in Nayax Core before your customers do.

Audience: Operator / Distributor
What is this?

Your daily control layer in Nayax Core

Monitoring & Daily Operations is the set of Nayax Core tools that give you real-time and historical visibility into every machine in your estate. It covers three areas:

  • Alerts & Notifications - know when something needs attention
  • Machine Status & Health - understand what each machine is doing
  • Maintenance & Field Operations - coordinate your team efficiently
Why does it matter?

Every hour offline is revenue you cannot recover

A machine that dispensed but went offline at 09:00 on a Friday is lost sales until someone notices. Monitoring tools exist for one reason:

  • Cut unplanned downtime by catching faults before your customers do
  • Save field labour costs by dispatching based on data, not guesswork
  • Prove compliance and cash handling accuracy with a documented audit trail
  • Respond to customer experience issues (Monyx feedback) before they escalate

Your Monitoring Toolkit

These guides cover everything from setting up your first alert to relocating a device between operators. Use the categories below to navigate to the task you need right now.

Start here if you're new:
Begin with How to Setup System Alerts Machine Level and How to View a Machine Last Sales Report
These two guides cover the highest-frequency tasks for any operator and will give you an immediate picture of your estate's health.
Alerts & Notifications
Know about issues before your customer do. Configure, view, and respond to machine alerts.

When to use these guides: Use these when you want to set up proactive notifications for a machine (or group of machines), review recent alert history, or investigate a specific customer feedback complaint tied to your Monyx Wallet loyalty program.

If alerts are not configured at the machine level, Nayax Core will not notify you when a machine goes offline or encounters a payment failure. You will only discover the issue when a customer complains, or a field visit reveals it - both options cost more than the 5-minute setup.
Machine Status & Health
Real-time and scheduled reporting to understand what every machine is doing right now and what it did last week

When to use these guides: Use these when you need a snapshot of recent sales for a specific machine, want to generate a detailed operational status report on demand, or want to schedule a recurring report so it arrives in your inbox automatically each morning.

Tip - Schedule first, generate second: If you find yourself generating the same Dynamic Status Report every morning, set it to schedule once and it will run automatically. Operators who schedule daily reports save an average of 15-20 minutes of manual checks per day across a 10-machine estate.
Maintenance & Field Operations
Coordinate your field team and manage device administration

When to use these guides: Use these when a technician is about to perform a cash collection (and needs a documented ticket), when a card transaction needs to be investigated by its unique identifier, or when a device needs to be reassigned to a different operator account.

Administration-level action: Moving devices between operators is an irreversible account change. Always confirm the destination operator account before proceeding. If a device is moved incorrectly, transaction history and reporting may be split across two accounts.
