General
When a transaction doesn't complete successfully, it falls into one of two main categories: cancellations or declines.
Understanding the difference can help you identify and resolve issues more quickly.
Cancelled Transactions - Canceled transactions typically occur on the Nayax side due to server or configuration issues. While most cancellations originate from Nayax systems, some may be caused by banking providers.
Declined Transactions - Unlike cancellations, declined transactions are primarily (about 90%) related to the billing provider rather than Nayax systems.
If you're experiencing a high rate of cancellations, check your device configuration and internet connectivity first. For frequent declines, verify that your payment processing settings are up to date and that all card types are properly configured.
For persistent issues, please contact Nayax Support with the specific error messages you're receiving for more targeted assistance.
