Spending limits control how much can be spent from a prepaid card per day, week, or month. Set daily, weekday, weekly, and monthly limits in Nayax Core to manage employer-funded budgets. Limits apply to card credit only; revalue credit is excluded.

Why Set Spending Limits?
Spending limits protect operators and cardholders by capping how much can be spent from a prepaid card within a defined time period.
Without limits, a lost or stolen card could be drained in a single day.
With limits, operators can:
- Control employer-funded budgets by capping daily or monthly spending per employee card.
- Reduce fraud exposure by limiting how much can be spent before the card is reviewed.
- Enforce different spending policies for different days of the week.
- Give cardholders predictable, budgeted access to vending without risk of overspending.

How Spending Limits Work
Nayax Core supports four types of spending limits, all configured on the same card under Card Credit Attributes.
The limits work independently, the most restrictive limit reached first blocks further purchases.
