How to Create a New Charge Point Operator (CPO) | Administration
Learn how to create a new CPO by defining its details, hierarchy, and settings. This guide walks you through adding a CPO and configuring its payment options, limits, and default charger rules.

Click Administration Tab

Click Operator

Click on the Operator tab from the drop-down menu.

Click Add New Operator

Click the Create tab, then select the Add New Operator option from the drop-down menu.

Operator Code

First, we input the CPO's information into the Operator Internal Code, which is a numerical code used for internal purposes.

Set Parent Hierarchy

Set the Parent level, which determines the hierarchy under which the new CPO will be created. It can be positioned directly under the Distributor or placed beneath an existing CPO, Sub-Actor, area, or location.

Regional Settings Set
Image AttachedUpon selecting the Parent, the fields in the Regional Settings section will automatically populate with the parent's information.

Set Account Type

The type option to set is an account or customer type.

Set Name & Description

Under 'Name and Description,' enter the Name of the CPO as it will appear in the management suite.

Set Status

For the status, select Active for this operator to be accessible immediately.

Click Save

All other fields on this page are optional. However, we recommend providing as much information as possible when creating a new operator to ensure it is unique and searchable for future access.
When you're ready, click the save button to save your information and create your new CPO!

CPO Visible in Hierarchy

Upon clicking Save, the CPO will be integrated into your hierarchy on the left and displayed in a thread on the main screen.
