What is a Machine Model?
QWhat does a Machine Model do?
A Machine Model is a collection of attributes and settings that acts as the default configuration for a machine in Nayax Core. When you create a new machine, the Machine Model pre-populates its configuration fields, reducing manual setup time and ensuring consistency across your fleet.
Note: A Machine Model's name does not need to match the physical machine the Nayax device is placed in. Some databases and regions include default Machine Models that can be applied across a wide variety of physical machines.

How Is a Machine Model Applied?

There are two scenarios depending on when you select the Machine Model:
Important: If you change the Machine Model on an existing machine, you must run the Load Defaults action. Without it, the new configuration will not be applied to the device.

What you should see: After selecting a Machine Model and running Load Defaults on an existing machine (or saving a new machine with a model selected), the machine's configuration fields reflect the default settings defined in the Machine Model.
