VPOS Media | Machine Protocol Configuration Guides

Your starting point to configure Machine Protocols for your VPOS Media 4 and Media 4 Mini devices in Nayax Core. Guides for Pulse, Marshall and MDB configurations with Nayax BASIC templates and recommended default settings.

General

VPOS Media 4 and VPOS Media 4 Mini devices have a dedicated configuration process in Nayax Core.

If you're adding a VPOS Media device for the first time or migrating a machine previously configured for another Nayax device you'll need to follow the configuration guides below to ensure your device operates correctly.

Remember to check the Release Notes Hub to stay up to date on new features, improvements, and firmware releases for your VPOS Media devices.

Each guide provides a BASIC template tag you can enter into the Machine Model field under the General tab.

These templates auto-populate the essential settings for your chosen mode, giving you a ready-made starting point. From there, set the values for each parameter and add any additional attributes your setup requires.

Choose your configuration:

VPOS Media | MDB Configuration For MDB-based transaction scenarios - Start with Card (Pre-Selection), Pre-Authorization, and Always Idle (Level 3).

VPOS Media | Pulse Configuration For pulse-based machine control - Single Price (fixed-cost) and Multi Price (flexible pricing with pricelists).

VPOS Media | Marshall Configuration For Marshall protocol setups - Always Idle Pre-Selection for standard vending and Multi-Session Pre-Selection for variable-cost services like EV chargers and locker rentals.
