Overview of VPOS Media Technician Menu | Devices
The technician menu defines the firmware for the device and provides access to the Device Info screen and Technician Menu for different technician level operations to manage the VPOS Media platform on the device.

00:27: From the device info screen, you can view the device specifications and network status,

00:43: The Technician Menu provides access to various technician operations only accessible
00:47: with the technician password. This sub-menu for advanced system operations.

00:56: In Poll you can collect parameters from the machine queue.
01:00: Click Reset to Trigger application resets for the system and Payment App.
01:05: In Advance Settings you can modify settings for language, volume, and screen brightness.
01:10: In the Send Device Log menu you can send Android logs from approximately
01:14: the last 72 hours.
01:17: Reboot, Power cycles the device.
01:20: Factory Reset Reset applications configurations to default as
01:24: a new Nayax device.
01:26: The Communication menu gives access to different communication channels and
01:30: allows access to Android settings screens.
01:33: The Dev Mode feature provides access to low-level Android settings but

Accessing the Menu

The following attributes are relevant to be configured in Nayax Core for VPOS Media.

- Attribute 316: Exclude From VPOS Media Tech Menu, Allows removing buttons from the Technician Menu
- Attribute 984: Technician Code, Allows to modify the Technician passcode
- Attribute 178: Dev Mode Passcode, Allows to modify the Dev Mode passcode
- Attribute 179: Exclude From Dev Mode, Allows removing buttons from the Dev Mode Menu
- Attribute 538: Assigned Technician Cards, Not supported yet.
