How to Set Up MDB Level 3 Always Idle | VPOS Media

This guide covers configuring MDB vending machines for "Always Idle" (Selection First) operation. This mode ensures the user selects their item before payment authorization, streamlining transactions and preventing overcharges.

00:08: On the dashboard of your Nayax Core platform, click on the Operations tab, then

00:12: click on Machines from the drop-down menu.

00:15: To locate your machine, type in your Operator name and any other fields.

00:19: Then click the search button.

00:22: Locate and click on the machine from the hierarchy.

00:25: The main general section will open and scroll to the Card Reader as highlighted

00:32: Set the Card Reader MDB level to 3, the Decimal place to 2, and

01:21: Set the Default Credit field (Which must be higher than the most expensive product in the machine),

01:30: Click Save to apply and store all the changes made to the card reader settings.

01:35: A pop-up will be displayed, confirming that the changes were completed successfully.

01:40: Click the Save button to save your progress as highlighted in BLUE on the visual.

01:44: Then, click on the Actions button and select Update Queue, as

01:48: highlighted in RED on the visual. That's now set!
