How to Enable SMS Notifications for Ready Orders | Administration

Enable customers to receive SMS notifications when their order is ready. Improving communication and reduce waiting times by keeping customers informed in in real time. An SMS is automatically triggered when an order is marked as "ready" at the POS.

Click Administration

On the dashboard of your Retail Core management suite click the Administration tab.

Click Set Up

In the sub-menu click on Set Up tab.

Click POS Parameters

In the sub-menu click on POS parameters.

Fill in Short Name

In the field Short name as highlighted type SMS and click search as highlighted in BLUE.

Click on Highlighted Immediate Payment Link

Click on Highlighted order status via SMS Link as highlighted in RED.

Click on Value

Scroll down to the POS parameter section and under the Value field click on the arrow as highlighted to display the options and enable the parameter from the default of False to True as highlighted in BLUE.

Click Save

Once enabled click on the save button as highlighted to save your changes.
