How to Set Up a Spooler | Tools

If you have multiple printers and POS units, you will need to set up a spooler. The spooler is software that temporarily stores print jobs to avoid an abundance of information being sent to the printer at once.

Click Tools Tab

On the dashboard of your Retail Core management suite click the Tools tab.

Click Printer

In the sub-menu click on Printer.

Click Printer Setup List

In the sub-menu click on Printer setup list.

Click + Icon

Click + icon at the top right of the screen.

Name and Associate

Name the printer and associate it to a store.

Enter IP address

Fill in the Spooler and IP address of the POS. Make sure Spooler enabled is active as highlighted in RED on the visual.

Click Create

Click Create button.
