How to Create a Technician Card | Consumers
A Technician Card is used by Operator employees to perform predefined actions like: send Dex, open the machine door, access the VPOST menu and more. Note Technician cards don't hold balances and cannot test vends.

Please note, creating the card can only be managed through Nayax Core.
Click Consumers Tab
Image AttachedSelect Card Management
Image AttachedSelect the card management tab from the drop-down menu.
Type Operators Name
Image AttachedEnter the name of the operator/sub-actor you want this card to be located under.
Select Technician Card
Image AttachedChoose the preferred Physical Card Types
Image AttachedType Card Unique Identifier
Image AttachedType the Card Unique Identifier number. This will be a number or a hexadecimal string.
Status - Active
Image AttachedCardholder Information
Image AttachedFill in the cardholder information to manage permissions securely by specifying the cardholder's name, address, and other relevant information.
Click Save
Image AttachedOnce completed, click 'Save' to save your Technician's card!
Assign actions for the card to perform
Now that you have created the card you need to assign what actions you want the card to perform.
Example of actions:
- Cash Collect
- Fill Picklist
- DEX Counters
- VPOS Menu
- Open Door
- Open Cash Box
- Fiscal Counts
Attach card to a machine
Click on the Attach to Machines secondary tab and identify the machine you want to assign your card to in the hierarchy tree and attach the card.
You can attach the same card to any number of machines in your hierarchy.
Please Note: The maximum number of different cards you can assign to a single machine is 5.
