💡Why configure Incremental Authorization?

Standard pre-authorization places a single fixed hold at the start of a transaction. If the final charge turns out to be higher than that hold - for example, a customer purchases multiple items in a multi-vend session - the hold may not cover the full settlement amount.

Incremental Authorization solves this by allowing you to increase the authorized amount after the initial hold, but before settlement. This lets operators run multi-vend sessions with confidence that the final captured amount will be covered, reducing settlement failures and improving revenue reliability.
