How to Create a Product | Administration

Why is it Important for you to Set up a Product?

Setting up specific products in Nayax Core is key for precise tracking, reporting, and inventory management. Allowing you to monitor sales by product, adjust pricing, run targeted promotions, and much more!

If you have the BI Module feature, filling in as much information as possible will allow detailed data which enhances insights, helping identify popular items, manage stock, and make decisions to improve efficiency.

00:00: Learn how to create a product within NYX core. 00:05: On the dashboard of your NYX core management Suite, click on the administration 00:09: tab. 00:10: Select the products tab from the drop-down menu. 00:13: Click on the create button. 00:15: In the drop-down menu, click on ADD product. 00:18: Fill in the mandatory Fields under product info. 00:21: It is also important to fill in as many details as possible, even if 00:25: the fields are not mandatory, including the volume type. 00:31: Enter the details under product pricing. On the dashboard of your Nayax Core management suite click on the Administration tab.

Click Products

Select the Products Tab from the Drop Down Menu.

Click Create

Click on the Create button.

Click Add Product

In the drop down menu, click on Add Product.

Product Info

Mandatory Fields:
Operator - Select the operator under which the product will be created.

Group - Select a product group from the drop-down menu, which this new product be associate with.

Product Name - Enter the display name for this product. (Up to 100 characters)

Status - Select if the product will be activated or not. (We recommend you to select the "Active" status.)

Non-Mandatory Fields:

Dex Name - Product name as will appear in the DEX file on price and name update (up to 16 characters). (This name will be relevant for the DEX reports when working with MDB machines.)

Description - Enter more information on this product, if needed.

Provider - Select the provider of this product from the drop-down menu (i.e. Coca-Cola Company)

Volume Type - Select the volume of the product (i.e. 330 ml cane) (If you are using the BI Module feature, this section is mandatory to fill out.)

Product ID - Product ID number as it will appear in reports (up to 100 characters).

Barcode - Enter or scan the barcode of this product. Product Barcode as it will appear in reports (up to 100 characters).

EAN - European Article Number. Enter the 13-digits EAN, if needed

Product Picture - Upload a picture of the product or use the available icons. (We highly recommend uploading an image that represents this product. This image will be visible to you in the MoMa app and to your customers in the Monyx app or Nova Market.)

Product Cost Price - The price product is bought by the VMO (Vending Machine Operator). If you are using the BI Module feature, this section is mandatory to fill out.

Cash Display Price - The price used to fix cash sale notification report (for machines that wrongly report cash price)

Credit Card Price - The price for credit cards (Overrides Machine Price - will NOT reflect EVA DTS)
Prepaid Card Price - The price for Nayax closed environment cards (Overrides machine price - will NOT reflect EVA DTS)
External Prepaid Card Price - The price for external prepaid billing providers like: 10bis, cibus, etc
Product Default Retail Price - The price product is bought by consumer (will appear as retail price)

NOTE: Entering pricing information in the Credit card price field will override whatever the price is set for in the machine. Example: If the machine is priced at $1.50 and the credit card price is set for $1.75, the item will be sold for $1.75 despite what the machine says.

This field is used a backup in case the machine is not displaying and selling the product at the desired price. It is best practice to set the price in the machine and let the machine do the work in regards to what the item will be sold for.

External Prepaid Card Price - The price for external prepaid billing providers like: uber eats, cibus, etc Product

Product Default Retail Price - The price product is bought by consumer (will appear as retail price)

Nutrition Info

An optional feature is to add nutrition information for this product, which can usually be found directly on the product packaging.

This is highly recommended when using the Nova Market.

Misc Info

Tax - If you are using the BI Module feature, this section is mandatory to fill out.

Amount in Tray - Total number of products in tray package (ex. 24 cans of soda in the tray)

Minimum Fill Pick Amount - Minimum number of products required to be missing before entering the pick list

Click Save

Don't forget to save your changes by clicking the Save button.

A pop up will be displayed, confirming the product was created successfully.
