What is a VAS Provider?

Understanding Value-Added Services in Nayax Core

Value-Added Service (VAS) Provider is a third-party platform that connects to the Nayax payment engine to deliver additional services at the point of transaction, without processing payments themselves.

Think of it as an add-on layer. Once a VAS Provider is set up in Nayax Core and linked to your operator account, it is automatically activated for every qualifying transaction. You configure it once, and it runs in the background from that point on. Common examples include digital receipts, fiscalization, and loyalty programs.

Important: The Generate Receipt option in the Dynamic Transactions Monitor (DTM) becomes available only after the eReceipt Platform VAS Provider is linked to your operator account. Without that link, the option does not appear.

What the integration delivers for you and your consumers

Nayax's e-receipt capability is powered by Weezmo, a digital receipt and consumer engagement platform. Once configured, your payment devices display a scannable QR code at the end of every transaction. Consumers scan it to access their receipt - and if they choose to share their contact details, Weezmo sends it directly to them by email or SMS.

No paper. No printer. No manual steps for the consumer.

  • Display a scannable QR code on the payment device at transaction end
  • Auto-deliver receipts to returning consumers using their saved contact details
  • Handle voids and refunds with the right notification sent automatically
  • View, download, and resend any receipt from the Dynamic Transactions Monitor
Note: If a consumer did not scan the QR code at the time of purchase, their receipt can only be retrieved by an operator or support user from the DTM. It cannot be resent to the consumer automatically after the fact.
