Prerequisites: Before You Start

Understand the complete vend scenario on CCI coffee machines - from power-on and price initialisation through product selection, authorisation, settlement, and dispense.

ℹ️
What is CCI? CCI (Coffee Connection Interface) is a communication protocol used by coffee machines to interact with a Nayax payment device. The Nayax device handles authorisation and settlement on behalf of the machine.
  • A Nayax payment device is physically connected to the CCI coffee machine.
  • The machine and device are online and communicating.
  • You know whether your machine operates on CCI Level 1 (server-managed prices) or CCI Level 3 (machine-managed prices). If unsure, contact your Nayax distributor or Nayax Support.
⚠️
Price "0" is not supported. Products with a price of 0 configured in Nayax Core will cause transaction failures. Every product in the product map must have a value greater than 0.
