Pay as You Go Pulse - Count-Up Mode | Termination and Stop Button
Learn to manage Nayax Count-Up Mode, including manual "Stop" triggers via VPOS/Touch buttons or external wiring. This guide also covers power failure recovery and "Stop when credit finish" logic to ensure precise pay-as-you-go billing.
General
Stop Count-Up
1. Integrated Stop Buttons:
- Touch Devices (ONYX/VPOS Touch): Use the physical or on-screen "X" button.
- VPOS & AMIT: Use the standard interface button to end the session.
2. External Stop Button Configuration: If you prefer to use a dedicated external button on the machine rather than the Nayax interface:
- Parameter Setup: Go to the Devices Parameters group and set the Door Open Functionality attribute to "Cancel."
- Wiring: Connect the Door Open and GND wires to your external button. Pressing the button creates a short circuit that the device interprets as a "Stop" command.
3. Stop When Credit Finish:
If this specific logic is enabled in the dropdown menu, the pulse signal will continue even after the "Stop" button is pressed.
It will only cease once the minimum value is fulfilled and the "delta time" (the calculation of pulses vs. value) has been fully processed to ensure accurate billing.
- Session Interruption: If the machine loses power for any reason during an active Count-Up session, operation stops immediately.
- Memory Recovery: The device automatically saves the Total Charge amount accumulated at the exact moment of power loss.
- Final Billing: Once power is restored, the system retrieves the saved data and processes the transaction, ensuring the consumer is charged correctly for the time used prior to the outage.
