How to Use an Exchange Receipt for a Purchase | Nova POS

Add New Item to Cart
From the device, add the item needed to be exchanged to the cart.
This item will display as a negative value once the process is completed.
Open Menu
Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen to reveal the menu.
Select ECR Management
Select ECR Management from the menu options.
Click Use Exchange Note
Click on Use Exchange note.
Scan Barcode or Type Code
Scan the barcode on the exchange receipt or manually enter the numerical code located beneath the barcode.
Click Approve
Click approve to proceed.
Select Exchanged Item
Choose the item from the exchange receipt that you want to exchange and click Approve again.
Add Item to Exchange to Cart
Now, add the new item you wish to exchange for to the cart. This item's value will also appear as a negative.
New Balance Appears
When you reach the checkout, the new balance will be displayed, reflecting the monetary value subtracted from the exchanged items.
