How to Enable Guest Count on Table Opening | Administration

Staff can now enter the number of diners when opening a table, giving you better forecasting and coordination across kitchen and service teams, guest count is printed on BON (next to table name), and included in X and Z reports .

00:00: This tutorial will guide you through enabling the guest count feature on table

00:06: On the dashboard of your Retail Core management suite, click the Administration tab

00:10: from the side menu.

00:12: In the sub-menu, click the set up tab.

00:15: In the sub-menu, click the POS parameters tab.

00:18: The parameter page will open in the parameter key field type, the

00:22: key specific parameter, you want to modify for this feature, type

00:26: need to open guests.

00:28: Click Search to find the parameter you entered.

00:32: Click the highlighted parameter "Need To Open Guests" to edit.

00:36: The parameter will open. In the Value field,

00:38: click to open the drop-down menu, as highlighted.

00:42: Select true to enable the guest count feature when the table opens.

00:47: Click Save to apply the changes made to the parameter.

00:51: To return to the POS parameters page, click the tab that reads POS

00:55: Parameters as highlighted to return to the previous screen.

00:58: The POS parameter has been updated!

Type Parameter Key

The Parameter page will open. In the parameter key field, type the key-specific parameter you want to modify. For this feature type, "needToOpenGuests".
