How to Close Trading Day and Receive Z Report | Nova POS

At the end of every workday, use the Close Trading Day tab to close the shop. Once closed, the POS will print a report Z of all the transactions from the day and lock the POS until the start of the next working day.

Open Menu

Click the three lines in the top left corner of your screen to open the side menu.

Click Close Trading Day

End of Day Message

An end of day pop-up will appear with date stamp details and balances for this device.

Click Continue

Click on continue to confirm to end the day.

Importing Catalog

The screen will display the progress of the import until it is completed.

Product Import Completed

A pop-up message will appear once import is completed, tap ok. If there are any outstanding items, a pop-up notification will appear before you proceed.

Z Report Printed

If you choose to continue, the register will close, click on the export last Z report as highlighted in BLUE and a printed Z report will be generated.

Day Closed

The next time you use the device, the initial page will prompt you to Open Trading Day.That's all there is to it! Your trading day will be successfully closed.
