Understanding Tariffs | Energy Core

General

A Tariff can be set at different actor levels to determine the cost of a charging session at a specific charging station.

If a Tariff is not defined at a particular location, a Tariff from a higher level will be used, if defined.

Different Tariff fees apply based on the location usage:

Fee Type
Public
Multi-Residential
Private

Usage > Energy

Note: for Semi-Public usually the payment will not be made via the CSMS.

Taoz Margin by Slice

Each tier can be billed by a different markup. Allows you to give different margin  for each slice, e.g., Shefel 0.30 and Pisga 0.20.

Conditional Taoz Margin

If slice price is lower than X, then add Y; else add Z.

Fixed Price per Slice

If you wish to view charging sessions according to IEC and give a fixed price.

Minimum Price or Taoz Margin

Add margin of X but ensure minimum price, e.g., Margin of 0.20. If base + margin isn't above 0.40, charge 0.40.

Fixed Price or Margin per Slice

Allows operator to handle each slice differently, e.g., Pisga based on Taoz with margin and Shefel as fixed price X.
