Nayax Core Machine Model Configuration | OEM Marshall Machines
Not all machines transact the same way. Choosing the correct machine model based on the device’s Manufacturer Code ensures OEM vending, refrigeration, EV charging, and rental machines follow the right session and transaction logic from the start.
General
How to Identify and Select the Correct OEM Machine Model in Nayax Core
Confirm a device's Manufacturer Code and select the matching machine model in Nayax Core so OEM vending, fridge, EV charger, and rental machines run with the correct session and transaction behavior.
Before You Start
An OEM machine in this context is a vending machine, fridge, EV charger, or rental machine built by a third-party manufacturer (the OEM) with a Nayax card reader factory-installed rather than added on separately after purchase. Because the payment device ships built to the machine, Nayax Core needs the correct machine model selected to match how that specific OEM machine communicates and processes transactions.
- The Nayax device is physically installed on the machine.
- The device is powered on and has network connectivity.
- You have confirmed - or can confirm - the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and machine type with the customer, either in advance or during installation.
Confirm the Device Is Reporting Keep-Alive
Before the Manufacturer Code becomes visible in the back office, the machine must have communicated with the Nayax server at least once via the keep-alive mechanism.
-
Power on the Nayax device and allow it to complete its boot sequence.
-
Wait for the device to establish a network connection.
-
Verify in Nayax Core that the machine status shows activity - the device should have sent at least one keep-alive signal to the server.
Note: If the machine has never reported keep-alive, the Manufacturer Code field will be empty. Do not proceed to Part 2 until communication is confirmed.
Find the Manufacturer Code
-
Open the machine page for the relevant device in Nayax Core.
-
Scroll to the VMC section and expand the dropdown.
-
Locate the parameter named Manufacturer Code. The OEM name is displayed here - for example, TCN, Hongxiang, or Irest.

Select the Correct Machine Model
-
Cross-reference the OEM name and machine type against the model list in the Machine Model Reference below.
Confirm the machine type first: Details such as single-session vs. multi-session, MDB level, and fridge vs. vending can be confirmed with the customer before or during installation. -
Open the machine configuration and select the matching Machine Model.
-
Click Save, then verify that the machine operates as expected.
What you should see: The machine processes sessions and transactions according to the selected model's behavior (session mode, idle handling, and MDB level).
